You make your time worthwhile by allocating it for what’s worthwhile. It’s about the joy you experience during your time, spending on what matters to you most. Here, you are the artist. You're not just an observer, subject to passive viewing. This is your time. You pick and place the tiles. You decide how best to sequence them.

The year
This is a look into how I spend my time, every day of my 49th trip around the sun.
A year, because shorter spans lie. A hard week reads as a hard life. A good stretch reads as a solved one. Over a full year the unusual days stop deciding the picture, and what is left is the proportion I actually live at.
The practice
Tracking time keeps me observant of how I move through life. It holds me in the present moment, focused on what is in front of me.
Each entry is a small pause, a moment to reflect on the time that just passed and to prepare for what comes next.
A color I meant to live and barely did takes fewer tiles than I pictured. One I never chose can hold a whole region without my noticing. So the practice is not only the logging. It is about living the day with awareness, making sure to spend my time on what matters; what brings me joy and fulfillment. The mosaic shows me what is being left behind when life gets harried and reminds me to slow down and be deliberate about the tiles I choose, the activities that motivate and nurture me.

The ultimate act of creativity is crafting a life that brings out the best in you, that excites and inspires. A life that you love. And since how we spend our days is how we spend our life, time crafting is a creative act itself. You are crafting your life. Be creative. Be fun. Fill it with what matters. It's your creation.
